I have to admit. I’m not much for bling. I love the way it looks on everyone else’s projects, I just don’t buy a lot and don’t use it a lot. I am also not a fan of glitter. It just gets everywhere and that bothers me. “Why is she blathering about bling?” you may ask. Well, I loved this sketch, especially once I got the inspiration for which photos to use and part of the challenge was to include some bling from your stash. After all the blog is called “Scrap Our Stash”! And hey, while I was at it and busy with my Cameo and playing with glitter, I thought it’d be great to enter the “glitter it up” challenge at Cameo Creations!
So what I saw in the sketch was a vertical strip of pictures, stars and the scattered bling. What I was inspired to use was a planet, a photo booth strip, lots of stars and glitter and epoxy bubbles!
Here’s a look at what I created (and had a lot of fun, especially with the bling part!)
(The pictures were left at a larger file size so that if you click on them you can see more detail. What do you think? Should I go big again or should I shrink the file size as I have on previous posts?)
