Scrapbooking as much as possible, but sometimes getting distracted by birthdays and life!

Christmas in July!

Well, hello! I’ve been working on a card challenge with my Scrappin-n-Chattin Yahoo! group to create Christmas cards with a different prompt every day of July and thought I’d share one of my cards with you today!

Ruth - 3 RedGreenWhite

This is for the 3rd day’s prompt to create a card with just red, green and white. I used the a2 christmas tree pop dot card by Lori Whitlock . I have to admit I have a serious shaker card addiction! They are so much fun to make. Those are the delicious Doodlebug Design sequins inside (I love all the different colors and finishes their small jars of sequins have!) Two addictions combined, maybe three if you count my Silhouette machine, or four if you consider my love of traditional Christmas colors…

So, I made this with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge to make a shaker card in mind, but I finished too late because I was busy celebrating my daughter’s 15th birthday with her Tuesday (she chose to scrap with me – the BEST reason to miss the shaker card deadline ever!) But after checking out the next challenge found that this would work for the LET’S BE CLEAR  challenge there! Yay!

Not much else to say here. Other than I hope you’re having a fantastic summer and that you have a wonderful day!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment to put a smile on my face!

  1. I think I’ve made 2 shaker cards in my crafting life but nothing nearly as great as yours. This is such an awesome card.
