Scrapbooking as much as possible, but sometimes getting distracted by birthdays and life!

Lori Whitlock, MIA?

Well, sometimes I just enjoy the process of creating my projects and I don’t spend the time sharing them on my blog and sometimes there are other reasons (like I haven’t given the card yet and I don’t want it to be a spoiler!) I am applying for Lori Whitlocks’ Creative Team and noticed that there were many projects that I’ve done with Lori’s files that I haven’t published here, so I’m gonna share them now. I’ll try to at least give you the links to the files from the Silhouette store, we’ll see how far I get, LOL!

this also uses the digital papers from Lori’s Christmas Day collection that I printed out – I would have loved to have used print and cut, but my Silhouette was not playing nice with me the other day, so I did it a fairly low-tech way instead.

One of the cards in a set I gave to staff at my son’s school (I used the school colors of bright blue and white for as many of the designs as I could.)

5×7 box card: birthday  (adapted to use birthday labels by Carta Bella)

I had a ton of fun creating this card for my nephew!

My sister’s birthday card – she is a Stamin’ Up! demonstrator and loves blue so I used SU! blue papers. It does say “looks good on you” on the very front yellow panel, but it didn’t turn out in the photo. I have to admit, the Stickles went on a little too thick, LOL! Don’t you love the sweet banner and the little bows, though? Just wonderful!

A card for my SIL who teaches first grade and always talked about the nieces and nephews as her “favorite first grader” when they were that age!

#3 thank you card

This and the next card were for a card set that I gave as a gift to someone special to me! I felt they would be elegant cards for an elegant person!

That about wraps it up for now. I know I have more, but I thought it’d be fun to share these today!

I hope you have a fabulous day!

Thanks for spending part of it here with me!
