If you were hopping along, welcome to my blog, you should have come from Majken. I’m sure you were inspired there. If you weren’t hopping and you’re just visiting me, welcome to you, too. If you’d like to start the hop from the beginning or you’re lost here’s the list of blogs that are participating:
Practical Scrappers http://practicalscrappers.blogspot.com
For today’s hop there was no particular theme and I decided it was time I finished off some UFO’s. These are pages that have been floating around for a while and just needed to be finished up. Mostly just adding journaling, but I did add a couple of other touches to finish them off a bit.
I’m using my favorite Basic Grey collection of all time – Kioshi!
I added journaling and some shadowing on the letters on this side of a two page spread. I loved how the paper looked like propellers on a plane for this page about visiting the National Air and Space Museum!
Next up, butterflies!
Left and right sides. I’m glad I took the time to get the journaling done on these pages so they are that much closer to being finished! I really feel the journaling can share so many important details that will help us all remember this trip better in years to come. Just writing it I could feel what it was like to wait in line for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing tickets and then continue on with our adventures that day!
I thank you for stopping by today. I hope you feel inspired to use your stash to create some projects or possibly to finish some that have been needing just a little bit more attention!
To continue on the hop head to Kristy‘s blog! I hope you have a wonderful day!
